Career Peer Advisors (CPAs)
Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors are selected through an application process each year to serve as Career Peer Advisors (CPAs). CPAs are trained to assist Career Services staff members and their fellow students in the following ways:
- Introduce Career Services to freshmen and sophomores through the residential colleges by conducting workshops on resume writing and the internship search.
- Hold walk-in hours daily in Career Services (4:00-5:00) to review resumes and provide internship search information to students.
- Participate in Career Services programs and events such as career fairs, alumni receptions, and the career conversation series.
- Initiate and implement career programs of their choice (e.g. career/internship panel, speaker event, or employer site visit), or research and create a career resource.
