Dr. Jim Scully *00 will present `What is Consulting,` an overview of the industry and how to break in specifically for graduate students.

Dr. Jim Scully *00 joined Dean and Company, a boutique strategy and management consulting firm in the Washington, DC area following his graduate studies in Economics at Princeton. In nearly ten years at Dean he worked across a range of industries including Life Sciences, Healthcare, Media, Telecommunications, and Consumer Products and Experiences. For four years Jim was responsible for Recruiting at Dean and Company and has extensive experience evaluating potential candidate resumes and conducing fit and case interviews. Following Dean, he moved to New York City and joined a former client organization where he became SVP, Strategic Operations and Analysis. He is now actively seeking a new position in Corporate Strategy or Strategy/Management consulting, giving him a unique perspective on the job search experience for graduate students.
