Church & Dwight Innovation & Ideation SEMINAR and LAUNCH of Innovation Bowl

Open to all Princeton students.

Join alumnus Rod McNealy `72 for a seminar on the role of ideation and blue sky thinking in the product marketing process. Session will include exercises in blue sky thinking, where creative ideas that are not limited by current thinking or beliefs. (Co-sponsored by Advertise This.) This event will also LAUNCH the Church and Dwight INNOVATION BOWL on campus.

Organizations invariably say their future success is linked to the launch of successful new innovations. New products and services drive consumer interest and purchases. The iPhone 5 is merely the latest example. But where do these innovations come from, what is the process for generating new product and service concepts? This highly participatory two hour program will instruct attendees about Innovation fundamentals and the Ideation Process used across many industries. Attendees will learn the difference between Incremental and Transformational Innovation, the Ideation Process, and how it can be utilized in any situation where creative new thinking is required. Additionally, those attending this program will actually participate in an Ideation exercise on a real product. Finally, the exciting Church&Dwight Innovation Bowl will be launched as part of this class.
