Researchers and Policymakers: Influencing Science Policy in America
Researchers, educators, employers, and tax payers alike have an interest in the policies that affect science and engineering in America. This panel presents three perspectives on science policy and ways to engage in the policy making process, including a fellowship opportunity offered through the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for post-graduate scientists and engineers to contribute their analytical skills to policymaking in Washington, DC, while learning about the role of science in the federal government.
