Perhaps you're considering all your options for employment as you near graduation. It's always good to have a Plan B. Fall recruiting is just around the corner, you won't want to miss the opportunity to apply to some organizations while they are recruiting on campus and/or posting positions with fall deadlines. Get a head start on converting your academic CV into an appropriate and well thought-out resume for non-academic positions in career fields such as communications, finance, government, consulting, and non-profit, just to name a few. This workshop will walk you through the key elements of a resume and how to best market your skills as a Ph.D candidate going into the non-academic field.
