Tools for the Non-academic Job Search

If you are looking for a position outside of the academy, you will most likely need to replace your CV for a resume. Your cover letter will also look different from a letter you might write for a faculty position. Along with these two documents, you'll also need to submit a list of references instead of letters of recommendation, and prepare for a different set of interview questions. If all goes well, you may find yourself writing many thank you letters   and deciding among multiple offers.
