Article on Fe3O4 Polydopamine Nanoparticles “Most Read”

An article in the journal ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, describing work from Princeton CBE, was among the journal’s three most-read articles for September 2013.  The article, entitled “Core-Shell Fe3O4 Polydopamine Nanoparticles Serve Multipurpose as Drug Carrier, Catalyst Support and Carbon Adsorbent”, is based on work conducted in the laboratory of CBE Assistant Professor Rodney Priestley by postdoctoral fellows Rui Liu and Yunlong Guo, CBE senior thesis student Gloria Odusote '13, and visiting professor Fengli Qu from Qufu University, and describes a facile method to prepare core-shell nanoparticles with applications in medicine, energy, and the environment.
