Sundaresan Receives Humboldt Research Award

Sankaran Sundaresan, Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, has been elected the recipient of a Humboldt Research Award, accompanied by 60,000 Euro.  This award recognizes Sundaresan’s past accomplishments in research and teaching, and the expectation for continued cutting-edge achievements in the future.  The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, established in 1953 in Bonn, promotes academic cooperation between excellent scientists and scholars from inside and outside Germany.  Sundaresan’s award will facilitate research collaborations with German colleagues, particularly at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg on wet particle fluidization, over the next three years.
