Debenedetti to Receive ASEE Lamme Award

Pablo Debenedetti, Class of 1950 Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Princeton University’s Dean for Research, will receive the 2014 Benjamin Garver Lamme Award from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), at a ceremony to be held on June 16 during the 2014 ASEE Annual Conference and Exhibition in Indianapolis.  The Lamme Award “is bestowed upon a distinguished engineering educator for contributions to the art of teaching, contributions to research and technical literature, and achievements that contribute to the advancement of the profession of engineering college administration.”  Endowed in 1928, the last recipient of the Lamme Award from Princeton CBE was Joseph Elgin (then Dean of Princeton’s SEAS) in 1969.  Congratulations, Pablo!
