Jeremy Palmer receives Blavatnik Regional Award

Recent Princeton University Chemical and Biological Engineering postdoctoral researcher Jeremy Palmer received a 2014 Blavatnik Regional Award for Young Scientists. The award recognizes outstanding postdoctoral scientists in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Palmer, who was in the group of Prof. Debenedetti and is now an assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Houston, was named the regional winner in the chemistry category, one of only three categories. Winners receive $30,000 in unrestricted funds to support their research. Established in 2007, the regional award is supported by the Blavatnik Family Foundation and presented by the New York Academy of Sciences. See also this article posted on the university’s home page.
