Carter elected to the NAE

Emily Carter, the Gerhard R. Andlinger Professor in Energy and the Environment, Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Applied and Computational Mathematics, and associated faculty member in Chemical and Biological Engineering, was elected as a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Prof. Carter is cited for her "development of quantum chemistry computational methods for the design of molecules and materials for sustainable energy.”
