Russel wins American Chemical Society Award

William B. Russel, the Arthur W. Marks *19 Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean of the Graduate School, has been named the recipient of the 2007 American Chemical Society's (ACS) Award in Colloid and Surface Chemistry. Russel was cited "for seminal theoretical and experimental contributions to fundamental understanding of the phase behavior, structure, and rheology of colloidal dispersions." He will receive the award at a ceremony on March 27, 2007, during the ACS Spring meeting in Chicago. A scientific symposium in Russel's honor will also be held at the ACS meeting.
