Rodney Priestley to join ChE Faculty in Fall 2009

We are very pleased to announce that Rodney D. Priestley will be joining the Department of Chemical Engineering as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2009, following his appointment as a Chateaubriand Fellow at the Ecole Superieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles in Paris. Dr. Priestley's research interests lie in the glass transition in polymeric systems; separation membranes for gas and water purification; and responsive and self-healing polymers. Dr. Priestley was the recipient of this year's Padden Award from the Division of Polymer Physics of the American Physical Society, and was GEM/DFI Graduate Fellow during his Ph.D. studies at Northwestern University.
