Russel to Receive the 2010 AIChE Alpha Chi Sigma Award
William B. Russel, Arthur W. Marks '19 Professor of Chemical Engineering and
Dean of the Graduate School, will receive the 2010 Alpha Chi Sigma Award for Chemical Engineering Research from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Established by the Alpha Chi Sigma Educational Foundation, the award “recognizes an individual's outstanding accomplishments in fundamental or applied chemical engineering research, carried out during the past ten years.” The award will be presented at the AIChE Honors Ceremony on November 7, as part of its 2010 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City.
