Vorbeck Materials Corporation and Princeton University Cited in Report on Economic Growth

Vorbeck Materials Corporation (Jessup, MD) and the role of faculty from the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department in its founding and development are highlighted in a recent report from The Science Coalition on “Sparking Economic Growth – How federally funded university research creates innovation, new companies and jobs” (April 2010). Profs. Ilhan Aksay and Robert Prud’homme are listed as the co-founders along with company’s President, Dr. John Lettow (ChE ’95). Profs. Aksay and Prud'homme are within the Chemical and Biological Engineering department at Princeton University.
