Graduate Students Baliban and Gjorevski Awarded Honorific Fellowships
Two CBE graduate students have been awarded Honorific Fellowships by the Princeton University Graduate School for the 2011-12 academic year, which will provide full tuition and stipend their fifth and final year of Ph.D. study. Richard Baliban, who is working with Professor Christodoulos Floudas, will receive a Porter Ogden Jacobus Fellowship, while Nikolce Gjorevski, who is working with Professor Celeste Nelson, will receive a Wallace Memorial Fellowship. A total of 28 Honorific Fellowships are awarded annually across the entire University; on the basis of departmental nominations, a faculty committee recommends individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their scholarship and who give promise of exceptionally distinguished careers. Honorific Fellows will be recognized at a dinner organized by the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni in the early Fall.
