Misener GS5 Awarded Two UK Fellowships
Ruth Misener, a fifth-year CBE Ph.D. student working with Professor Christodoulos Floudas, has been awarded a 2012 Research Fellowship from the United Kingdom’s Royal Academy of Engineering. This postdoctoral fellowship will fund Ruth and her associated research costs for five years after her graduation from Princeton. Ruth will be based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, developing a hybrid computational/experimental approach towards personalized chemotherapeutic treatment for leukemia, in collaboration with Professors Efstratios Pistikopoulos and Athanasios Mantalaris. Ruth was also awarded a three-year Junior Research Fellowship from Imperial, intended to “sustain the brightest and best early career researchers from across the world”. Congratulations, Ruth!
