Alumnus Chris Loose '02 named Technology Review Young Innovator
Chris Loose '02 was recently named as one of thirty-five Young Innovators under the age of 35 by Technology Review Magazine. Since 1999, MIT's Technology Review Magazine has honored outstanding young innovators annually in areas such as medicine, computing, energy and nanotechnology. Chris was recognized for work done as a graduate student at MIT, in which he developed an effective way of incorporating antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), naturally occurring antibiotics, in coatings for medical devices.
