Certificate Programs
Certificate programs are Princeton's way of encouraging students to seriously pursue an academic subject not covered within their major. The School of Engineering offers students a chance to supplement their departmental requirements with focused study in another, often interdisciplinary field. The breadth and flexibility of the program accommodates a wide range of interests. The School of Engineering offers the following certificate programs:
- Applications of Computing
- Architecture and Engineering
- Engineering and Management Systems
- Engineering Biology
- Engineering Physics
- Geological Engineering
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Robotics and Intelligent Systems
Many departments at the University offer certificate programs. Environmental studies is a popular selection for CBE majors. East Asian Studies, Musical Performance, Creative Writing, Theater and Dance, Language and Culture, and Finance are also popular with our current undergraduates.
