Derian/CBLI Summer Research Internships
The Derian family fund provides support for the program to place rising juniors and seniors as research interns with local non-profit organizations.
Students selected for an internship work with a host organization for ten weeks during the summer. Research projects will be driven by the needs of the non-profit, and students may also begin work toward a related junior paper or senior thesis topic.
Interns receive a $4,000 stipend and a housing allowance, paid by CBLI.
Position descriptions and host sites for summer 2012 will be posted in TigerTracks over winter break in December. Applications will be due in February.
Notes from previous Derian/CBLI interns:
"Spending a summer as a CBLI/Derian intern allowed me to experience a different side of Princeton and learn a great deal about the nonprofit sector."
"The most important aspect that contributed to the success of my internship was my own willingness to try different and new experiences. The best ideas and discoveries come in the most unexpected ways."
