Colonial Americas Workshop (CAW)
Founded in 2006, the Workshop is a seminar series for Princeton students and faculty interested in the study of the colonial, imperial, and revolutionary history of the Americas, broadly construed. The series brings together scholars from a wide range of sub-disciplines for the purpose of sharing scholarship, presenting student and faculty research, and discussing problems and trends in colonial history. The series also seeks to create more opportunities for informal interaction between graduate students and senior scholars. Link to Current Schedule
Colonial and Imperial Workshop (CIW)
This new seminar seeks to provide a forum in which Princeton students can explore colonial, postcolonial, and imperial themes in a broad geographical and chronological context. The workshop hopes to allow graduate students working in these historical areas to engage in discussion with an audience that goes beyond traditional regional or national divisions. Early Modern History Workshop (EMH)
This workshop began the spring of 2010 and is a seminar series for Princeton students and faculty interested in the study of early modern history. The series brings together a community of early modernists that transcends common subdivision in this field. The series provides graduate students with a forum in which to present works-in-progress, grant applications, research papers, and dissertation papers. Link to Current Schedule
Modern America Workshop (MAW)
Founded in 1998, the Workshop is a seminar series for Princeton students and faculty interested in the study of modern U.S. history. The series brings together Americanists from a wide range of sub-disciplines for the purpose of sharing scholarship, presenting student and faculty research, and discussing problems and trends in American history. Modern Europe Workshop (ME)
A regular, lunchtime meeting of faculty and graduate students to discuss work-in-progress in modern European history. Meetings may involve either lectures or pre-circulated papers. For information, please write to dabell@princeton.edu
