Symposium on Fluid Dynamics and the Global Environment
Series: Special Seminars
Location: Bowen Hall Auditorium
Date/Time: Monday, May 23, 2011, 8:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The School of Engineering and Applied Science, The Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Program, and The Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory invite you to the third Student and Postdoc Symposium on Fluid Dynamics and the Global Environment on Monday, May 23, 2011 in the Bowen Hall Auditorium from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.
The study of fluid dynamics is integral to both engineering and global earth systems. This workshop will bring together students and postdocs working on cutting-edge fluid dynamical research with a focus on environmental and geophysical applications. The goal is to enhance cross-disciplinary fertilization and bring engineering methods and models to bear on problems of geophysical relevance.
