Professor Ignacio Rodriguez-Iturbe to Receive AGU Bowie Medal
Professor Ignacio Rodriguez-Iturbe will be awarded the 2009 Bowie Medal, the highest honor awarded by the American Geophysical Union. The medal acknowledges the recipient for outstanding contributions to fundamental geophysics and for unselfish cooperation in research. The medal will be presented to Professor Rodriguez-Iturbe in December at the annual meeting of the AGU in San Francisco.
