Juan Nogues Awarded the 2011 Outstanding Student Paper Award for Presentation at the 2011 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting

The department is pleased to announce that Juan Nogues was awarded the 2011 Outstanding Student Paper Award for pesentation at the 2011 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting.

4,638 students requested to be judged for the OSPA and only 149 students were awarded.  The top 3-5% of each Section/Focus Group was chosen by a Coordinator or team of Coordinators from each S/FG.

Juan's presentation is titled "Investigation of dissolution and precipitation of carbonate rocks using reactive transport modeling in pore networks.”
