Trenton Franz Receives Student Prize from AGU
CEE graduate student Trenton Franz was awarded the prestigious Student Paper Award from the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Trenton presented a poster titled "Ecohydrologic modeling of hillslope-scale processes in dryland ecosystems" at the Fall AGU meeting in December. This work, which is being done under the supervision of Prof. Kelly Caylor, is part of the larger departmental efforts focused on Water in Africa. Congratulations to Trenton for being recognized as "among the best of a strong group of student presenters" and for giving a presentation "which sets an example for your fellow students and the entire AGU”.
