Minghui Diao Receives Outstanding Student Paper Award from AGU

The Atmospheric Sciences section of the American Geophysical Union has selected Minghui Diao, a graduate student in the Environmental Engineering and Water Resources program, to receive the Outstanding Student Paper Award for her presentation at the 2010 AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco.  Her presentation titled "Ice Supersaturated Regions Formed by the Inhomogeneities of Water Vapor Field in the Upper Troposphere in START08 and HIPPO Global Campaigns" was recognized as among the best of a strong group of student presenters.  This is her second award - her first at the smaller Spring AGU/Joint Assembly two years ago.

Winners will be announced in an upcoming publication of EOS, the weekly newspaper of AGU.

Congratulations, Minghui!
