Logistics & Fees
The Summer School will be held on the beautiful campus of Princeton University. On-campus lodging in air-conditioned shared rooms with same-gender shared bath facilities is available to all participants(1).
Breakfast, lunch and dinner meal plans are available to all participants. Participants may also choose to make arrangements to stay and dine at area hotels and restaurants.
(1) Summer school dormitory facilities have been reserved for participants who are not currently students at Princeton University.
Arrival and Orientation/Welcome Reception: The summer school will begin with an orientation and welcome barbeque on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 6:30pm. Staff will be available from 1pm - 5pm prior to the reception for check in to dormitory rooms. All participants (including students) who wish to arrange for early arrival on Saturday June 18th will be billed the additional lodging fee.
Class Schedule: Classes will be held from Monday, June 26, 2017 through Friday, June 30, 2017.
Summer School Celebration Dinner: All lecturers and participants are invited to a Summer School Celebration Dinner on Thursday evening, June 29th.
The final class will end Friday, June 30th at 5:30pm.
Departure and Check Out: Dormitory check out is Friday, June 30th. Participants (including students) who wish to arrange for late checkout on Saturday July 1st will be billed the additional lodging fee.
Dormitory: $63.00 per night. (Dormitory arrangements are available for check in Sunday 6/25, check out Friday 6/30). *Participants (including US grad students) who wish to arrange for early arrival on Saturday 6/24 will be billed for the additional lodging fee. Participants (including US grad students) who wish to arrange for late departure on Saturday 7/01 will be billed for the additional lodging fees.
Meals: (Meal arrangements are available 6/26-6/30).
Breakfast: $10.45 per day; Dinner: $20.00 per day;
Lunch: Cost of Mon - Fri lunch is included in Registration Fee for only grad students registered in US and Non-US institutes.
All participants are invited to attend the Welcome and Celebration dinners on June 25th and June 29th respectively.
Registration (non refundable after May 20, 2016):
$100 - Graduate students at U.S. academic institutions.
$100 - Graduate students at Princeton University.
$100 - Graduate Students at Non-U.S. academic institutions.
$150 - Non-Princeton research/teaching staff of U.S. academic institutions and government agencies.
$100 - Princeton research/teaching staff (lunch may be purchased at an additional cost of $20 per day)
$350 - All other participants (US and Non-US industry staffs, research/teaching staffs of Non-U.S. academic institutions)
All non-Princeton University graduate students who are enrolled at U.S. academic institutions will receive scholarships sufficient to cover the expenses for up to 5 nights of dormitory lodging (check in Sunday June 25, check out Friday June 30) and all meals from June 26 to June 30, 2017. Students who wish to arrive early on Saturday June 24th or leave later on Saturday July 1st may arrange to do so and will be billed the additional lodging fee not covered by the scholarship.
All students currently enrolled at Princeton University will receive scholarships sufficient to cover the expenses for 5 days of lunch, from June 26 to June 30, 2017.
