The Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team at Princeton serves the University’s mission of advancing knowledge through relationships with corporations and foundations. We support education, research, and scholarship at the University through a proactive process of identifying, initiating, and managing relationships. We take an outside-in approach that recognizes the needs and priorities of corporations and foundations and aligns them with the strengths of Princeton.
David Langiulli, Director

David currently leads the CFR team at Princeton. His experience spans both the corporate sector and higher education. On the corporate side, he led market research, product development, technology licensing, sales, and marketing initiatives. In higher education, he has successfully served in positions of progressive responsibility in fundraising and technology transfer and licensing. David holds a master’s degree in business from Stony Brook University, a master’s degree in engineering from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in physics engineering and mathematics from Washington and Lee University.
Laurie Bellero, Office Manager

Laurie Bellero is the Office Manager for Corporate and Foundation Relations. In her current role, Laurie organizes and maintains the operations of the office. Laurie came to CFR from the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, where she supported the co-directors. She began working at the University in 2007 in the Lewis Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics. Prior to joining the University, Laurie had many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and was employed at the Schering-Plough Research Institute and Roche Labs Inc.
Frances Yuan, Senior Associate Director

Frances works with campus partners to develop and strengthen University relationships with industry in the fields of engineering and the physical sciences. Prior to her current position, she was a senior proposal writer for CFR and the manager of community relations at the Princeton University Art Museum. Frances was also an assistant curator of Asian art at the Brooklyn Museum. She received a B.A. in fine arts (art history) from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, and a M.A. and M.Phil. in art history and archaeology from Columbia University.
Katherine Norton, Senior Associate Director

Kate works to develop and build relationships between campus partners throughout the University and public and private foundations. Prior to coming to Princeton, she was Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Yale Law School, where she oversaw proposal writing and communications strategies on behalf of faculty members and senior administration. She previously worked as the Development Director for Art-Reach, a nonprofit art service organization, and at the Library Company of Philadelphia, a historical library. Kate received a B.A. in religion and studio art from Dartmouth College and a M.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
Rajiv Hota, Associate Director

Rajiv leads the Research and Operations team in CFR, managing the group’s strategic information resources, prospect research, analytics, financial reporting, and stewardship activities. Rajiv comes to Princeton with extensive experience in economic, financial, and industry analysis. His consulting engagements included the valuation of business enterprises, equity interests and intangible assets. Rajiv has a M.B.A. in information management and finance from Rutgers Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), in India.
Pamela Berchtold, Analyst

Pamela Berchtold works within CFR to oversee the proper recording of all corporate and foundation gifts to Princeton University. In this position, she serves as the first point of contact for University departments with inquiries on corporate or foundation giving. Pam joined the University in 1999 bringing with her more than 20 years experience working within an office environment. She has been with CFR since 2002.
Jill Jahn, Assistant Director

Jill Jahn oversees stewardship activities for CFR, including the drafting of acknowledgement letters to corporate and foundation donors for signature by various Princeton campus partners. She also manages CFR’s stewardship and reporting compliance efforts for gifts and grants from institutional donors, and assists the CFR associate directors with various projects. After earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Princeton, Jill worked for one of the assistant deans in the Graduate School before beginning a career in non-profit development at Princeton. She subsequently worked for George Washington University, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and The Pingry School before returning to Princeton in 1998 to join CFR.
