As part of its Centennial Celebration, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers has published, in the October issue of Chemical Engineering Progress, a gallery of “100 Chemical Engineers of the Modern Era”, 11 of whom are Princeton faculty and graduate alumni. The list includes Professors Pablo Debenedetti and James Wei; Professor Emeritus William Schowalter; and Lecturer Vern Weekman. Princeton graduate alumni include: Alice Gast (*84), Thomas Hanratty (Chemistry *53), Sangtae Kim (*83), John Prausnitz (*55), John Seinfeld (*67), Jackie Ying (*91), and Charles Zukoski (*85).
