Undergraduate Program: Independent Work and Senior Thesis
A core element of the Princeton undergraduate experience is the senior thesis. Senior thesis is a year-long, independent research project, designed to allow each student to demonstrate the skills necessary to think, analyze, and write in a coherent and mature way. Senior thesis provides students a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a faculty member on a subject of their choice. This intense and sustained engagement with a problem that has interested and intrigued the student will be the most challenging, as well as the most rewarding, experience the student will have in their four years as a Princeton student.
The document below provides valuable information on the senior thesis for Chemical Engineering students. This is current for the 2009-10 academic year: Chemical Engineering Senior Thesis Guide.
