New Chemistry Building
The new, state-of-the-art Frick Chemistry Laboratory provides laboratory space for both faculty research and teaching, as well as a variety of teaching spaces and faculty and administrative offices. A skylit atrium connects the laboratory wing with the administrative space and offers a light-filled space with pedestrian bridges. The atrium is a unique space for special functions to promote scientific collaboration.
As part of Princeton's Campus Plan, significant efforts have been made to make the new chemistry building (and the surrounding natural sciences neighborhood) one of the most environmentally sustainable areas of campus. In addition to landscape and stormwater strategies that will restore, enhance and expand the natural areas, Frick Chemistry Laboratory incorporates sustainable building technologies and features that reduce energy demand and conserve water.
