We, the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), are a group of graduate students (everyone is welcome) who organize a variety of social, recruiting, outreach, and speaker events for the department. Some highlights include Frixer (the annual social), Frickmas (the holiday social), visiting weekends for prospective students, orientation week events, Student-Invited Lecture Series (SILS), movie nights, and fellowship application workshops.
If you are interested in joining us, or have ideas for events or programs you would like to see in our department, don't hesitate to contact any of the officers!
The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is dedicated to enriching graduate student life within the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University through administrative, social, and community activities. The GSO serves as a liaison between the graduate students and the department by actively communicating graduate students’ needs to administrators and faculty. Open to all chemistry graduate students, the GSO organizes department-wide social activities, assists in graduate student recruitment efforts, and coordinates chemistry outreach and community service projects.
