Cava named 2012 NSSA Fellow
The Neutron Scattering Society of America, which advances neutron scattering research in the United States, just named Professor Robert Cava as a 2012 NSSA Fellow for his work in “the outstanding applications of neutron diffraction to the understanding of complex materials and advocacy for the field, particularly among young scientists.” The NSSA Fellowship Program was established to recognize members who have made significant contributions to the neutron scattering community in North America for advances in knowledge through original research and publication; innovative contributions in the application of neutron scattering; contributions to the promotion or development of neutron scattering; and/or techniques, service and participation in the activities of the NSSA or neutron community.
