About the Visiting Fellows Program
CHW has a program through which visiting researchers devote an academic year or a semester in residence at Princeton to research, discussions, and scholarly collaborations concerned with the determinants of physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and the effects of public policy on health and wellbeing. Visiting researchers represent a variety of health-related disciplines, including medicine, psychology, biology, epidemiology, economics, sociology, and related social science disciplines.
Visiting Fellow Opportunities
The Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHW), part of the Woodrow Wilson School, invites outstanding researchers to apply for visiting appointments each academic year. CHW supports research on the multiple aspects of health and wellbeing in both developed and developing countries. Successful candidates will devote an academic year or a semester in residence at Princeton to research, discussions, and scholarly collaborations concerned with the determinants of physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and the effects of public policy on health and wellbeing. Applications are welcome from researchers in a variety of health-related disciplines, including medicine, psychology, biology, epidemiology, economics, sociology, and related social science disciplines.
There are three different appointments. Please apply to the one below that best describes your situation. Application deadline is December 15, 2012.
Postdoctoral Research Associates
Postdoctoral Research Associates are scholars who obtained their PhD degree or other advanced degree within the past three years, and who will not be employed by another institution during their stay at Princeton.
Visiting Research Scholars must be employed at an academic institution other than Princeton during their visit.
Associate Research Scholars are researchers who received a PhD or other advanced degree more than three years ago, and will not be employed at another institution during their stay at Princeton.
