The Classics Graduate Program
Competition for admission is keen, and the number of applications to major graduate programs has been rising. In recent years, our Department has been able to offer admission to about one out of twelve applicants, although fully one-half to two-thirds seemed capable of doing creditable graduate work. While there is no royal road to admission, there are several steps you can take to obviate problems and to capitalize on strengths.
