Raised in California, I studied Classics and Literature at Yale (2007), with a thesis on indirect discourse in Greek epic, and read Classics as Mellon Fellow at Clare College, Cambridge (BA 2009, MPhil 2010), with a thesis on Virgil’s second Eclogue.  I am at work on projects on Ben Jonson’s classicism and the ‘avant-garde’ in ancient art and aesthetics, and am preparing a thesis on Virgilian poetics.  I also co-coordinate our departmental Classical Literature Workshop, and our Reception and Neo-Latin Reading Groups.
