Profile
I graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in Latin and a minor in Greek in 2005, and completed the Postbac Program in Classical Studies at UPenn in 2010, where I rediscovered my obsession with wool-working metaphors in Greek literature. I entered the Princeton program in Classics in the fall of the same year. At Princeton, I broadened my skill set (taking classes on epigraphy, numismatics, and art history, and developing an interest in papyrology), and my temporal and geographical horizons. I am currently interested in bilingualism, language contact, and translation in the ancient Greek world, India in the Greco-Roman imagination, papyrology, non-elite literature, and mime.
