The Center for Migration and Development has been successful in obtaining funding from the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation (FFMS)for a study to be conducted in Portugal commencing in January 2012. In addition, the CMD has been awarded the highest score in the national competition sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Information in Spain that will complement a Spencer Foundation award to extend a longitudinal study on second generation immigrant youths in Madrid and Barcelona
