Sunday, May 31, 2015
Baccalaureate. 2 p.m. Held in the Chapel with seating for guests in simulcast locations near the Chapel, this interfaith service features a guest speaker. In 2014, Christopher P. Lu '88, Deputy U.S. Secretary of Labor and former White House cabinet secretary under President Barack Obama gave the address, a copy of which is available THIS LINK.
Monday, June 1
Class Day. 10:30 a.m. This event is focused on the senior class and includes a guest speaker. If weather permits, it is held on Cannon Green with a picnic lunch to follow (in the event of severe weather, seniors will assemble in the chapel and guests in simulcast locations including Dillon Gym and Alexander Hall).
Departmental receptions. Held in the afternoon. Times and places will be posted in spring 2015.
For advanced degree candidates
Dean's brunch. Noon, Held at the Graduate College.
Hooding Ceremony. 4;15 p.m., on Cannon Green, weather permitting (rain location for candidates is Alexander Hall and for guests is the Dillon Gym simulcast location).
Tuesday, June 2
Commencement. 11:00 a.m. (guests must be seated by 10:20 a.m.). Granting of degrees and address by President Eisgruber. Distribution of diplomas in the Residential Colleges for seniors follows.
