Michael Hotchkiss, social sciences writer, came to Princeton in 2012 after seven years as an editor at The Wall Street Journal. He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri in 2000 but really learned the ropes of writing and editing at Mississippi community newspapers, where he wrote, took photos, laid out pages, worked in the darkroom and tossed newspapers onto — or toward — driveways. At Princeton, he develops news and editorial content about the teaching, research and service missions of the University, with a special emphasis on the social sciences.
