Jamie Saxon, arts and humanities writer, joined the Office of Communications in 2012 after working as a senior editor at U.S. 1 newspaper in Princeton. Before that, she worked as a senior editor at The Philip Lief Group, a nonfiction book producer, and held senior-level positions in public relations agencies in Washington, D.C., New York and Princeton. At Princeton University, she develops news and feature stories for the homepage and works with the team to create projects for campus partners, with a focus on the humanities. A graduate of Tufts University, Jamie is a native of Princeton. She spends her free time trying to figure out her teenage son and how to bring her century-old farmhouse back from the dead with minimal blood, sweat and tears. When she hits a wall on either, she showers adoration on her two beagles.
