Many people want to associate with Princeton for a wide range of reasons. Each year, the Office of Communications receives thousands of requests for the use of Princeton's name and/or image in films, commercials, ads, books, news releases, websites and other places.
Each request is reviewed thoroughly and those that are compatible with the University's mission and interests are approved. Requests for use of the campus for photo and film shoots and use of logos and other trademarks are also handled by Communications. These responsibilities have been delegated to the office by the University's vice president and secretary.
