Giving

Princeton University faculty and staff are active volunteers in the community and participate in many campus based activities throughout the year that provide resources to numerous local charitable organizations.

Princeton University faculty and staff are significant supporters of the United Way, with over $200,000 in contributions to the annual campaign.

During the holiday season, many academic and administrative departments work together to collect Thanksgiving baskets, stuffed with turkeys for dinner to pies for dessert, or will adopt a local family and fulfill their wish lists for Christmas.

Princeton employees also give generously each year to the annual clothing drive that collects gently used business clothing for donation to local organizations such as HomeFront and the Mercer County Community College Career Training Institute.

In addition to coordinating campus-wide volunteer and contribution activities that take place annually, the Office of Community and Regional Affairs is pleased to assist our generous faculty and staff with connecting to qualified local not-for-profit organizations in the Princeton region.

If you work at Princeton and would like to find ways to connect with a deserving local organization, please contact us at (609) 258-3204 for assistance or email to pucra@princeton.edu.
