Rachel Galvin and Adriana Jacobs win the Sidonie Miskimin Clauss Award
The Sidonie Miskimin Clauss Award is awarded every other year to an outstanding dissertation in the Department of Comparative Literature. The winners in 2011 are Rachel Galvin, for Poetry and the Press in Times of War (1936-1945), and Adriana Jacobs, for Strange Cocktail: Poetics and Practices of Translation in Twentieth-Century Modern Hebrew Poetry.
