Lindsey Pollak, bestselling author, corporate consultant and internationally recognized expert on next generation career trends, will share advice for college students regarding online reputation management and personal branding. Lindsey has over a decade of experience advising both young professionals and organizations and her keynote address will launch Princeton’s campus-wide Data Privacy campaign to increase student awareness of the personal and professional implications of their online presence. Students will learn how to make informed decisions about the types of information they share online (via the web and social media) in a way that positively impacts both their digital identity/online reputation and supports future career aspirations.
Lindsey Pollak is a Global Spokesperson for LinkedIn and the author of Getting from College to Career: Your Essential Guide to Succeeding in the Real World (HarperCollins). She has delivered consulting, keynote speeches and seminars for over 100 corporations, universities and conferences—including many on the topic of Personal Branding and Online Reputation Management. Clients and audiences have included IBM, Merrill Lynch, Time Inc., Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Duke, MIT and many others.
Her advice and opinions have been featured in such media outlets as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR and NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.
