Several employers attending a recent Career Fair hosted by Career Services at Princeton talk about the importance of creating a professional online presence and offer tips on the type of information that should be shared and what should be kept private.
The Career Fair was held in September 2013 and organized by the University's Career Services.

General Counsel speaks about "FERPA and Data Privacy - Issues for Princeton Administrators"
Hannah Ross, of the Office of the General Counsel, gave a session on, "FERPA and Data Privacy - Issues for Princeton Administrators."
The two-hour session covered the basics of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, better known to most as “FERPA.” Hannah also highlighted the recent changes to FERPA laws that all administrative staff who handle student information at Princeton should know.
