Professor Mark Mazower, Columbia University will deliver the inaugural of Lawrence Stone Lectures on April 28, 29, 30.
The Annual Lawrence Stone Lecture Series is jointly sponsored by the Shelby Cullom Davis Center for Historical Studies, the History Department, and Princeton University Press. Named in honor of the Center’s founding director, the aim of the series is to bring the world’s most distinguished historians to Princeton to lecture on a topic of general interest to a broad audience. Each year, the Lawrence Stone Visiting Professor will deliver three public lectures, which will form the basis of a book published by Princeton University Press.
