Hardware Support
OIT Hardware Support is responsible for the installation and maintenance of Princeton's physical data network and for installation and repair of computers and computer peripherals across campus. We also provide data recovery and data destruction services and are an authorized warranty service center for Apple, Dell, HP, IBM/Lenovo, Lexmark and Xerox.
Hardware Support is also responsible for TigerTV, the campus wireless network, campus security camera and point-of-sale systems, campus digital display panels and public TVs and public computer installations and support.
Our current hourly labor rate is $96. We have a minimum charge of $48, or one-half hour. After the first half hour, labor is charged in one-quarter hour increments.
