Dialogue@Princeton - Consulting and Training

Preparing in-house communications consultants:
Key people within departments can be trained to respond to communications needs in workgroups, using various dialogue models and other group facilitation techniques. Most frequently this consultation is useful when:
  • A department experiences either ongoing tensions or an event that requires intervention.

  • A department planning a change seeks to strengthen its ability to work effectively at a team.

  • Individual members of a department request resources or ongoing professional development in managing group communications.

Developing and support on-campus trainers:
Dialogue@Princeton workshops and programs are open to anyone interested in developing or supporting the dialogue experience in the workplace, academic settings, educational programming or other venues. Through training, participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of dialogue as an educational tool and community/team builder.
  • Learn about a variety of models and tools available.
  • Be able to offer a basic assessment of needs.
  • Enhance collaboration among University offices.
