Title IX
"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Students, faculty or staff members, or other members of the Princeton University community who feel that the University has discriminated against them on the basis of sex in its programs or activities may utilize Princeton’s Title IX grievance procedures and the Title IX grievance form to bring concerns to the attention of the University Title IX Coordinator for the purpose of obtaining a prompt and equitable resolution.
The vice provost for institutional equity and diversity serves as the University’s Title IX Coordinator and is responsible for monitoring University practices and procedures to ensure compliance with our policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Title IX.
